Ubisoft DRM: Where I live there aren't that many ISPs and all of them suck balls even though I have a decent 20Mbps connection. Guess what? While I'm writing this my connection dropped! I don't play many online games because of this. So now if all companies start implementing Ubisoft-like DRM in OFFLINE games I'm screwed and might start buying more games for my Xbox 360.

Whoa! the hypocrisy in your post is so obvious it hurts my intelligence. You say that Microsoft flopped with the Xbox yet you say Sony only made some mistakes in the handheld market because they were FAIRLY NEW to it! May I remind you that when Microsoft entered the console market it was something THEY'RE STILL FAIRLY NEW to?
I was disappointed with GTA IV too. I played about 12 hours of it (including both free roaming and some missions) and still couldn't get into it. It just wasn't fun and I really hated how you had to drive all the way (or take a cab)to restart a mission when you failed.
I just uploaded these "High Quality" pictures unlike the ones in this half-assed comparison. Both games are untouched "no mods" on the highest settings with everything set to very high in CCC (except AA and AF are set to "application settings").

I agree. It has always bugged me how the jungle never felt alive. On the other hand, Crysis 2 seems to capture the feel of a city under attack pretty well.

@nsnsmj "Crysis 2 looks more "gamey"." I guess that's why I prefer the look of Crysis 2. I'm not that much of a fan of realism. And that's why I didn't like a lot of the "Mega Ultra Super realism mods" for the first game.
Vanilla Crysis doesn't look that good. IMO,vanilla Crysis 2 looks better than vanilla Crysis 1.
I mean the overall IQ is better in Crysis 2 and feels more polished.

People are different, some like the convenience of getting everything handed to them and ready to use out of the box. I build my PCs by myself because I love to customize everything however I see fit not just because it's cheaper this way but due to the fun of doing it also.
Now these make "Meatspin" look hot in comparison.
